Jubilee Sailing Trust Voyage

This year the Foundation were delighted to enter into an initiative with Lloyds TSB Offshore.

Bank staff joined a voyage as crew” buddies” for disabled crew on a week long voyage onboard the Jubilee Sailing Trust’s tall Ship Tenacious, from St Helier in Jersey, via St Malo, Lyme Bay, to Poole in Dorset. The cost of the voyage was met by the Offshore Bank and the Foundation. The voyage was voted as inspiring and a great success by the 40 guest crewmen.

These photographs taken by Justin Guilbert a member of the staff of the Bank in Guernsey, shows some of the able bodied and disabled crew members all taking a full part in changing the rigging of the Tenacious.

Climbing the mast of Tenacious was an event that all who did it will long remember, as will this young member of the crew.
